Las Almas ni los Ojos

Pacho, a 58-year-old man, arrives at an old, almost ruined village after having journeyed through the stars for thousands of years. There he is welcomed by faces that have been waiting for him for a long time.

Pacho lives far from his childhood village, which he was forced to flee half a century ago. One morning, he finds an old photograph that pulls him into an imaginary journey back to his homeland.

Through memory, film grain, and star-filled universes, Pacho begins an inner return, wandering through the deserted streets of his village. There, faces from the past emerge from the shadows to confront him with the violence that marked his life.

Las almas ni los ojos reimagines one of the first photographs of modern violence in Colombia, transforming it into a living territory where imagination becomes an act of resistance, healing, and confrontation with collective trauma.
